Pay Rates
Minimum Guarantee
Lineholder and Reserve - 75 hours

Deadhead Pay
All deadheads are paid at 75% for block or actual flight time, whichever is higher.

Holiday Pay
A flight attendant who is assigned flying or reserve duty will receive an extra 4 hours about his or her guarantee on the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day

Premium Pay
The company may designated certain open time trips as premium. They may also designate certain bid periods or days eligible for premium pay as well. Premium pay will start at 150% of the value of the trip, and may increase depending on company need.

Per Diem (as of 10/12/2022)
Domestic - $2.15 per hour away from base
International - $2.60 per hour away from base
*both shall increase by $0.10 every second year. Next increase will be 10/12/2024
Vacation Pay and Accrual
Vacation Pay and Credit
Republic refers to their vacation as "Paid days off" (PDO). A vacation week will be paid in 18 hour increments. PDO hours are accrued at the rate in the table to the right. A flight attendant utilizes their PDO hours to bid as many 18 hours weeks of vacation as they can.

Any day a flight attendant chooses to use a PDO, they will be debited 4 hours. If PDO time is used to drop a trip, the value of the trip will be covered from the PDO bank unless the flight attendant chooses to only be paid 4 hours per day.

Vacation Bidding
Vacation must be bid in full week increments during the annual vacation bid. Flight attendants must use PDO days in lieu of bidding vacation less than 7 days. A flight attendant may bid for up to 96 hours of vacation (5 weeks) if they have enough PDO hours.
Sick Pay and Accrual
Sick Accrual
Flight attendants will utilize their PDO hours for any absence due to being sick. Please see the accompanying chart for Paid Day Off hours and accrual rates.

Sick Pay and Usage
Flight attendants sick hours will cover their missed flying or reserve at 100%, assuming they have enough sick time to cover the absence. Each day is worth 4 hours, or the value of the trip that the flight attendant missed due to illness.

Hours of Service
Minimum Days Off
Lineholders are required to have 12 days off free from duty in base. The flight attendant may choose to go below 12 days off via trip trades, etc.

Reserves must have a minimum of 11 days off free from duty in base.
Retirement/401k
401k Contributions
A flight attendant may participate in the company's 401k savings plan.
Company match and vestment schedule it based on the included tables.

Republic currently operates the ERJ-170/175 for American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines.

Parking
Republic will pay for a parking pass is the flight attendant's domicile. If a flight attendant chooses, he or she may have parking from an alternate airport reimbursed. The company will pay up to what the cost of parking would be in the flight attendant's domicile.

Flight Benefits
Non-Revenue Travel
Republic flight attendants have standby benefits on all major airlines they operate under. The benefits for each major carrier is different.
While a flight attendant has benefits on multiple large carriers the benefits tend to be limited or of less value compared to employees at the specific airline in question.
​
For example, if a Republic flight attendant lists on an American Airlines flight they will automatically have lower priority on standby than an American employee.
Jumpseating
A Republic flight attendant may jumpseat on Republic aircraft or any airline they have a reciprocal agreement with.
​
Only the EMB-175 has an extra flight attendant jumpseat.
​
Union Information
Union
The International Brotherhood of Teamsters (Teamsters)
Flight attendants are not required to maintain membership with Teamsters. Flight attendants wishing to be members may sign up after the start of their employment. Regardless of union status, flight attendants will be required to pay the standard union dues charge.
​
Contract
The current contract is effective October 12th, 2022 to October 12th, 2027.
​
Probation
A flight attendant shall be on probation for the first 9 months of service with the company.
​
